David A. Rothenberger, M.D. a practicing colon and rectal surgeon, is also a Professor and Deputy Chair for the Department of Surgery who holds the John P. Delaney M.D. Chair in Clinical Surgical Oncology and is the Associate Director for Clinical Research and Programs at the University's Cancer Center. He also is the President of the Board of the Minnesota Colorectal Cancer Initiative. He is an editor for several surgical journals, a member of numerous professional societies, and a member of the GI Committee of the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group.
Dr. Rothenberger is a member of the Board of Trustees of University of Minnesota Medical Center. He is dedicated to increasing the collaboration among all participants in the health care system. His colorectal surgical practice at the University of Minnesota is focused on colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases.
